Supplies

  • Dried rose petals
  • Dried lavender
  • Dried rosemary
  • Gauze bags

Directions

These sachets are so easy to assemble whether you have a garden or buy supplies at the grocery store! During the summer, I bring in roses and let their petals dry on a cookie sheet or just in a dish. I grow lavender and rosemary and do the same with that. You can easily tell when the petals and herbs are dry. If I don’t have a good rose crop, I buy them on special at the grocery store (red and pink are the best for good color) and let them dry. The same with rosemary. You can just use rose petals and rosemary if you don’t want to grow lavender. You only need a sprig of lavender or rosemary in each sachet to bring fragrance to it. The gauze bags can be found at craft stores or online at Amazon in various sizes. After your rose petals are dried, fill the gauze bag, add a sprig or lavender and/or rosemary and tie the bag. These sachets are wonderful stocking stuffers.
