A Thrilling Mystery
(Wednesday, February 28, 2018)
Thank you Kensington Press and the Author, Marian Lanouette for an advanced copy of this book for review. The Author produced a thrilling mystery.
Jake Carrington is a complex man. He is a dedicated homicide police lieutenant who fastidiously researches every inch of a crime before coming to a conclusion. He and his partner, Louie, not only work together they are more like family. After the horrific murder of Jake's sister and now the man in prison for her murder wants a DNA test, I began to wonder did Spaulding commit the murder? Has Jake been wrong all these years? The Wagner case, with no resolution in sight, the victim’s sister, Chole, also Jake’s stalker, who could ruin Jake’s career, is complicating Jake and Louie’s lives, and the case. The Wagner case reminds Jake of his sister Eva’s murder. Having seen Eva’s, his sister, body in the morgue the image is always with Jake. As if this wasn’t enough a missing person is found murdered. A woman who lived a life like most mothers who worked hard. Then Jake meets Mia. He juggles cases, Mia and a search for killers. The entire book keeps you guessing who did it. All the Deadly Lies is a thrilling mystery engrossing you from the beginning, unpredictable, well written and a great read. An unexpected cliff hanger makes me thirst for the next Jake and Louie adventure.
