Oreo Ball with Maggie Wells

These may not be a Christmas treat, per se, but they pack such a remarkable punch I can only unleash them on the world once per year. Friends start cajoling me for them starting each October. Family members fight over them. My husband offers….favors for them.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Oreo Ball.

1 package Oreo Cookies
1 8oz bar cream cheese
White candy coating

Combine Oreos and cream cheese in food processor until a soft, smooth dough is formed. Line cookie sheets with wax paper. Form rounded spoonfuls into 1” balls and drop them on the trays. Chill until firm, then dip each ball in melted candy coating.

When I have time, I like to decorate them with candy piping, but a quick shake of holiday sprinkles does the trick just as nicely.
Oreo balls can be stored refrigerated in airtight container for up to two weeks.

Gregory Stark is just trying to make it through his son’s wedding day… and make some time with the gorgeous brunette on the bride’s side of the aisle. His kid’s wedding probably isn’t the best occasion to put the moves on the sexy woman, who introduces herself only as ‘Josie’, but his best friend is closing in on her too and he has to act fast. With a couple of tequila shots under his belt, Greg propositions Josie — and neither wants to refuse.
