Kimberly Shumate first made her mark on the book world working at Harvest House Publishers. During her twelve years there, she discovered numerous award-winning authors who established themselves as fresh and relevant voices within the CBA market. She later joined George Fox University as an Expert Advisor for Artifact II, guiding PhD students through the transition of academia to mainstream writing. Kimberley’s love of writing led her into the film world where her work has been recognized in several high-profile competitions, including the Nashville Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, BlueCat, and the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship. She is a member of the ACFW, the Willamette Writers, and enjoys judging various writing con-tests.
