  • I am an author seeking a publisher. Do you accept submissions from un-agented writers? How can I submit my manuscript?
    Kensington does accept unsolicited and un-agented queries. You can find more information and submission guidelines HERE.
  • What kinds of books does Kensington publish?
    We publish a wide range of commercial fiction and nonfiction. For a more complete listing of the genres in which we publish, go to our index, and pull down the menu under "Browse Category." Our catalog will bring up a listing of every book in that genre. For more information regarding Kensington Publishing and the history of our publishing program, see "About Us."
  • How do I find an agent?
    If you would like your work considered for a major publisher, we recommend that you work with an established literary agent. Agents can be found in such literary guides as Literary Marketplace, or The Writer's Market, which you should be able to find in your local bookstore or library. You can also visit Writer's Digest for more information.
  • How can I contact one of the authors you publish?
    We are not able to provide mailing addresses, emails, or phone numbers for any of our authors. However, many authors provide contact information on their own websites, which you can find by searching online. We also link to many of the authors’ individual websites within their bios, which can be browsed by clicking “Authors” in the navigation menu on this site.You may also write to an author care of Kensington Publishing:

  • I have a question about a giveaway I entered on Goodreads or one of Kensington’s social media platforms.
    Please send an email to kmclaughlin@kensingtonbooks.com. In your email, make sure to include as much information as possible about where the giveaway was hosted, when you entered it, and what you won.
  • How can I get the audiobook edition of a Kensington book?
    Kensington does not produce audiobooks, but we do work with the major audio publishers to make our titles available through them.

     

    As a result, most titles in the Kensington catalog are available everywhere audiobooks are sold and through libraries.
