Susan Hardy lives in the same small town in Georgia where her family has lived for generations. As the product of an eccentric extended family of natural storytellers, her career in novel writing was inevitable.

A professional writer for nineteen years, Susan has been a newspaper reporter, an editorial assistant on a trade magazine, a speechwriter, and a technical writer. However, romance writing is far and away her favorite occupation. Her work has won a slew of awards including West Houston's Romance Writers of America (RWA) Emily award, the Virginia Romance Writer's "Fool for Love" contest, the MICA award at Northwest Houston RWA's "Lonestar" contest, and the Ozarks Romance Authors' "Romancing the Ozarks" contest.

Susan is a member of Georgia Romance Writers and Romance Writers of America, and holds a Master of Arts degree in journalism. She enjoys reading in all genres, particularly romance and horror, and is a slave to three egomaniacal cats.
