     Review: Roan only wants to get back to the action and out in the field after his recuperation. Lyraka only wants to train to be a warrior and put her talents as a Nerakian to good use. When Roan finds out that his boss wants him to train Lyraka one-on-one or he doesn't get to go back in the field that he really wants to do, he is ticked. Then he sees Lyraka and he feels something else entirely! She is gorgeous! Now they are thrown together in one-on-one training in a cabin pretty much alone and both fighting their attraction to each other--Roan with his attraction to Lyraka--Lyraka with her feelings she has never felt before as she came from a planet with no men. Can they get the training done without their feelings getting in the way? Or will Roan become too protective of her to let her join a team and go into the field work? Anything Else: This is a definite keeper and well worth reading. It had me reading long days as I couldn't put it down.

     This is certainly one of the better paranormal romances I have reviewed. Planetary wars, action and different species add so much more to a story. Ms. Kelley has such a big tale here with so many threads leading to Lyraka and Roan that it could be quite confusing if it were not written as well as it is. Instead, the author uses those threads to keep the reader on the edge, eagerly anticipating the next event. This is a sexy story with the adventure to make it all work.
