Raw

Reporter Smokey Powers has come to a small Oregon town to investigate a developer’s disappearance. But from the moment she wanders into a local art gallery, she’s captivated by a stunning photograph of a hawk in flight…and by her urgent need to meet the photographer, to touch him…to know him.

Reckless

When Smokey comes face-to-face with Mato Hawk, a member of a local tribe, his masculinity overwhelms her. For once, this ambitious career woman is learning what it means to submit in every way. Again and again Mato takes her to the brink of release, becoming more dominant and demanding, awakening every inch of her body to pure sensation until she’s never felt more alive—or less in control.

And Red Hot

Seduction was a way for Mato to stop Smokey from jeopardizing his people’s land with her investigation. Now their desire has become an unstoppable force that’s wild, risky, and deliciously unpredictable…

WARNING! THIS IS A REALLY HOT BOOK (Sexually Explicit)

Less than what I'd hoped for.   (Apr 09, 2010)

Firstly, I have to admit this was my first real BDSM read. I have no doubt that I like to read this type of erotic romance but this left me wanting more. I loved the whole spiritual American Indian links that Harper created. Very mystical and sexy. But I wanted more detail in the sex scenes, more detail in setting the scene building up to each climax. It just didn't seem realistic that the heroine was dreaming up such experienced BDSM fantasies for the first time - on the fly, so to speak. Maybe a little less detail in her imaginings, focusing on the emotions she was craving rather than equipment. Regardless, I kept reading waiting for my need for the big peak and as I neared the end of the book, my hopes where pinned on the final chapter, but unfortunately I was left somewhat unsatisfied. Close but not quite there, with so much potential to be more. However, I won't give up trying other BDSM novels. Cheers!
