Best-selling author Joan Hohl has been writing for over twenty years. During this time, she has produced over fifty romance novels. Her titles include Another Spring, Compromises, Silver Thunder, and Shadow's Kiss. Many of her books have made the Walden Books list and the USA Today list, and her recent Zebra release, Maybe Tomorrow, made the extended New York Times List. Joan is the recipient of the Romance Writers of America Rita Award and twice received the Romantic Times' Reviewer's Choice Award, as well as the Sensuous Writer of the Year Award. She is currently at work on the book My Own.
She was born, raised, and still lives in the same city some fifty-odd miles northeast of Philadelphia. She and her husband Marv have been married over forty years. They have two grown daughters, Lori and Amy, and two beloved grandchildren, Erica and Cammeron.
When she's not busy indulging her grandchildren, Joan reads voraciously. Indeed, she has been devouring hundreds of books a year since her junior high school days. Some of her favorite authors include Nora Roberts, Kasey Michaels, and Marcia Evanick-all of whom she counts as close friends. She also admires and enjoys the work of Kathleen and Michael Gear in the ongoing Pre-historic Peoples series. Joan and Marv travel quite frequently and she often incorporates these vacation locations into the settings of her books. A member of Novelist, Inc. and Romance Writers of America, she has also been a speaker at several writers' conferences.
