Captivated by Jill Shalvis

Seducing Tabby by Lucy Monroe
Tabitha Payton is hostessing the summer gala. Her parents own the yacht club and marina and restaurant where the gala is. There is some speculation about the man of the hour-Paul Calder. Some think he is royalty, some that he's in the secret service.
While dancing she tries to tell him of her sister Helene's best kept secrets so he will find it easier to court her. Tabby love her job selling books and he's a regular once a week buyer of mystery books.
She experiencing a lot of new things as she finds out he is interested in her and not her perfect size 6 sister. They spend a lot of time together just talking and then other things...
Love the day at the museum and the night after...

A GREAT BEACH OR VACATION READ!
(Monday, September 9, 2013)
Reviewer: AprilR,My Book Addiction and More
This book is a perfect beach or vacation read. Each story is short and steamy with just enough plot and background info to get you interested in the characters, while the focus remains on the relationship. None of the stories get too deep, and there aren’t a lot of conflicts to resolve. It is also a great representation of each authors’ writing styles.
I think my favorite couple were Carla and Ross at the end. I like the opposites attract idea, and could sort-of relate. Tabby and Calder’s story was more on the sweet side. He was definitely more patient than I was when it came to dealing with her insecurities, which were a bit annoying to be honest. Gayle and Tristan’s story was the hottest for me, but I’ve always been a bit partial to cowboys! I felt a little bad for them, and the fact that they missed out on so many years that could have been amazing. Who really walks out on your high school sweetheart and doesn’t speak for 10 years? I did get really interested in James and Ella’s backstory, and would probably enjoy a few full-length books about them. Their story seemed to be the most interesting with the danger element added. Violet and Brad’s story was probably the most run-of-the-mill, nothing unusual and almost cliché at times. They had some pretty steamy scenes that made it enjoyable though. Overall, a good read that allows breaks between stories. Definitely worth the read.

5 out of 5 Licks for Fish Out Of Water by Cat Johnson
Cat writes some seriously sexy stuff. This story does include characters from the Oklahoma Nights series, but you won't be missing much if you haven't read One Night With A Cowboy-although you really need to read it!! In a bit of a twist for our Cat books we have a cowgirl not a cowboy. Mark is a bit of a nerdy professor, but he is quite strong-willed once he makes up his mind to do something. Carla wants Mark, but is worried she isn't his type. She may not have loads of university education under her belt but none of that matters to Mark. Carla and Mark had a little private party in the water and trust me they had the lake boiling! This is a quick story and the time spent between Mark and Carla may have been short, but Cat did a great job pulling me in and making me feel the flame between them. Just like everything else I've read from Cat Johnson Fish Out Of Water is full of steamy sex and characters that will always leave you wanting more. I can't wait for the next book in this series-I have my review copy now!-I know Cat will knock my pants off again. Seriously, you should worry more about losing your pants than your socks when you read her books! ;)
