For a moment, a face flashed before my eyes—the most hideous face I’d ever seen. No matter how hard I tried to forget what had happened, I saw him everywhere I went. It was Loki—the evil god that I’d helped set free against my will.
I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a swordfight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn’t see that one coming. I’ve been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself…

Gwen Frost was given the job of taking down Loki. Things got mixed up though when Loki was let go. Everyone thought Gwen did it. She was trying to prove her innocence when more problems arose. Being arrested and held for trial, Gwen wasn't sure what else could go wrong. The students at Mythos made every day difficult for Gwen. Her friends however, stood beside her all the way. Gwen's goal was to find the person who let Loki out. With some help, she knows she can do this.
Fantastic! This book is truly a great fantasy. I love that it includes Gods and Goddesses, as well as other typical fantasy things. I was highly impressed with the Beyond the Story part. It tied everything together and let you know where they were heading. Well written and characters you'll enjoy from the beginning. This is one you need to read.
I found no issues.
I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it grabs you from page one.

Book 4 of A Mythos Academy series begins right where you left off in book 3. Gwen is finally on an official date with her crush Logan Quinn but it goes horribly awry. She must fight against everyone that believes she is guilty and prove that she is Nike’s champion for a reason. Her trustworthy friends and some new faces help her along the way. Will Gwen and Logan finally get to finish their date?
This is a seriously addictive series. I couldn’t put it down even to go have dinner. Jennifer Estep draws you in and doesn’t let you out till the book is done and you are still wanting to have more. The characters in the story are growing and becoming stronger and you want to know everything that happens to them. I can’t wait to read book 5 in the series and I know it is going to be just as addictive as the others.
