Warning: The next attack on American soil will come from within.

From coast to coast, our nation is witnessing a new wave of terror. Suicide bombers incite blind panic and paralyzing fear. A flight attendant tries to crash an airliner. A police officer opens fire on fans in a stadium. And at CIA headquarters, a Deputy Director goes on a murderous rampage. The perpetrators appear to be American—but they are covert agents in a vast network of terror, selected and trained for one purpose only: the complete annhiliation of America.

Special Agent Jericho Quinn has seen the warning signs. As a classified “instrument” of the CIA reporting directly to the President, Quinn knows that these random acts of violence pose a clear and present danger. But Quinn may not be able to stop it. The search for terrorists has escalated into an all-out witch hunt. And somehow, Quinn’s name is on the list…

Protection – but who will guard the guards? (Wednesday, July 4, 2012)
Reviewer: Kathy Jund

Marc Cameron delivers a heart stopping, page-turning adventure in a race against time to stop a terroristic act of epic proportions against the United States. Robert Seth Timmons, an unassuming CIA analyst at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia has a plan in place and no one is going to stop him even if it means he will die in the process. Veronica “Ronnie” Garcia is a member of the CIA uniformed Security Protective Service, a hard bodied woman of Russian and Cuban descent innocently ventures to the food court for a cup of coffee only to find herself caught in a battle of her life. Jericho Quinn, tall dark and dangerous, his Mediterranean looks highlighted by the genes from his Apache grandmother would strike fear in anyone he chooses to give “the look” to is an agent of the “OSI” Office of Special Investigations considered a one-man hammer of protection. Jericho is home in Alaska from a recent mission overseas to attend his young daughter’s youth symphony debut with hopes of making up with his ex-wife of two years. His gut that is always right when things seem wrong is nagging at him in a big way. Soon he will find out just how right his instincts are. The chance interception of a transmission resembling a terrorist threat, lead by an unknown force who is calling the shots, sets into action the unlikely partnership between Jericho and Ronnie. Their mission to identify who is responsible and head off the plot finds them not only pitted against the enemy but the heat they soon discover surrounding each other.
